ゲームボーイでのワリオランドシリーズは全て制覇しましたがこの作品が一番好きですね！
小学生低学年のころにプレイしていたせいか今でもこのゲームをプレイすると『あの頃』
が時たまオーバーラップします。

★ジャンルは任天堂お得意の横スクロールステージを縦横するアクションゲームです。

★パッケージ裏にも記載されているようにワリオは敵からいくらダメージを受けてもゲーム
　オーバーというものがありません。その代わりワリオはある特定の敵からダメージを受け
　ると様々なリアクションを起こし例えば蜂に刺されると通常状態のワリオでは到底行く事
　のできなさそうなところにも行けるようになったりと･･･　時にはわざとダメージを受け先
　に進むという事が重要となってきます。
　
(同会社の亀に当たるだけで虚しく死んでしまう貧弱な赤帽子のヒゲオヤジのアクション
ゲームとの違いはそこである。全く別物のアクションだと言っても差し支え無いだろう。)
　
このゲーム一度クリアしエンディングを迎えると『あっさりしすぎでは?』と思いますが実は
初めて目にする事になるエンディングは序の口でしかなく１周目に通る事になるいくつかの
ステージに新たな道が隠されている事に気づかされます。

当時は幼い子供心からか新たなステージへの道を試行錯誤の上見つけ出す度に心躍り興奮した
たものでした。
『宝＆隠しステージ＆収集要素を埋める』というある種定番ではあるがそう言ったいわゆるやり込み
要素も余すことなく散りばめられコンプリートするまでには中々時間がかかりましたが
全て暴き出した時には達成感で僕の心は満ちていました。(笑)

100％完全クリアしても弟にうっかりデータを何度か消され激怒しつつもその度にワリオと初めから
冒険したものでした。(笑)

と･･･上記のように長い間ワリオを操作している事が影響してかワリオに愛着さえ沸き大好き
な愛すべきキャラになった(笑)以後彼が主演のゲームは全てリアルタイムで追いかけている。

今日ゲーム業界は複雑なシステムのゲームが多いが時としてこのようなシンプルなゲームは
当時より輝いて見えます。　まさに古き良き色褪せない名作ゲームである。

任天堂とワリオに感謝したい。　このゲームで遊んでいた日々は宝物その物である！！

たしかに不死身なんだけど、当たってはいけない敵に当たると画面の半分ぐらい弾き飛ばされるので、かえってワリオが弱くなった気がする。ゲーム自体もアクションパズル的な要素もあるし、前作のようなガシガシ進む爽快感が無くなった。
ボス戦で攻撃を喰らうとステージの途中まで戻されるのはどうかと思う。なかなかストレスが溜まるゲーム。つまらなくもないけど、特別おもしろいという気もしない。前作が面白かっただけに期待しすぎたかな。全体マップが無いのもさみしい。

このワリオランド２は映像こそ、カラーとなり、きれいになったものの・・面白さは格段と下がったやうに思える。

ホッカルさん自身、クリアーした事はないんですが(自動セーブがよく消えてて、よく、はじめからになるうえ、つまづく箇所が多いため)

前作のほうが遥かに良作だった。
