実は熱烈なディケイドファンであった自分は、10周年記念のお祭り作品を最後に新しい仮面ライダーにハマるのはやめようかと思っていたのだが、ディケイドの終わり方が中途半端だったためにすっきりせず、ダブルも続けて見た・・・これがまた面白くてハマってしまったのだ(笑)まず、仮面ライダーダブルのデザインがスマートでなかなかカッコいい。マフラーの復活も泣かせる。ガイアメモリの組み合わせで9つのフォームにチェンジできる設定も玩具と連動して楽しめる。あと、二人のダブル主人公にも注目で、対象的な性格はもちろん、ファッションも魅力的です。ちなみに自分は今、翔太郎のファッションにはまってます。話の内容も探偵ドラマを意識した非常にわかりやすい内容で、面白いです。ファンなら知ってのとおり、ダブルは前作品にて颯爽と主人公を助けに現れたヒーローなのです。(他にグレートマジンガーとか宇宙刑事シャリバンとか) 最高にカッコいいですよ。面白いので、みんなで楽しみましょう。

前作の仮面ライダーディケイドは中途半端な終わり方で終了し、正直期待は持てなかった本作。しかし見始めると結構はまってしまった。話の内容もわかりやすく飽きない。平成ライダーでは久々にバイクアクションを導入するなど見ごたえも十分だ。デザインは昭和の仮面ライダーを意識した姿となっており中でも約２５年ぶりに主役ライダーのマフラーが復活したことはファンにとっては涙ものだろう。敵はミュージアムという秘密結社の家族なのだが彼らのストーリーも目が離せない。

この作品は、設定は仮面ライダーの従来の概念からかなり冒険したものになっているが、仮面ライダー自体のデザインは王道といっていいもので、シンプルかつ力強い。素直にかっこいいと思えるデザインである。
また、脚本が素晴らしく、各キャラクターを無理なく計算してきちんと立てている。若い俳優陣も奮闘。
松田優作の「探偵物語」を髣髴とさせるキャラクターは主役だけでなく警察サイドにも居て良い味付けになっている。
そして、個人的にかなり惹かれているのがオープニング含めた音楽で、ジャジーなイントロからハートをわしづかみにされている。
久しぶりに毎週見るのが楽しみな番組だと思って期待してます。
