<ストーリー>
田舎町アリゾナに住む少女オリーブ。なんともブサイクでおデブちゃんな彼女が、全米美少女コンテストでひょんなことから地区代表に選ばれた。オリーブ一家は黄色のオンボロ車に乗り、決戦の地カリフォルニアを目指すことに。人生の勝ち組になることだけに没頭する父親、ニーチェに倣って信念で沈黙を貫く兄、ゲイで自殺未遂の叔父、ヘロイン吸引が原因で老人ホームを追い出された不良ジジイ、そしてバラバラ家族をまとめようと奮闘する母親。そんな落ちこぼれ家族の、奇妙でハートフルな旅が始まった……!

コメディらしくいっぱい笑えるし、
ところどころホロリともさせられる
とっても素敵な映画です。

いろんな問題を抱えている家族だけど、
観ているうちにどんどん彼らが愛おしくなってきます。
初めはケンカが絶えないし、てんでバラバラだった一家。
だけど旅をしていく中で起こる出来事が少しずつ彼らを近づけていく。

ものすごく有名な俳優が出てたりするわけじゃないけど、
出ている役者さんがそれぞれすごくいい味があって、
とってもいい化学反応を起こしています。

ダメダメ家族の珍道中を優しい眼差しで描いた
とっても良質な映画なので、
1人でも多くの人に見てほしいです！

【画質】
映像はそこそこです。
フィルムグレインは強めに処理されています。
粒状感の強いものでノイジーに感じる箇所もあるかと思います。
フィルムライクな質感は出ているのですが、シーンによっては少し強すぎる印象。
明るいシーンでも強めなので綺麗なシーンがうるさく汚く感じてしまいました。
シャープさは少し物足りないか。
引きのシーンでは輪郭が甘くなる箇所が多いです。
ただ、アップ時の画質は素晴らしい。
特に人物描写の質感がとても良く目を見張るものがあります。
暗部シーンの諧調はまずまず。
潰れる事もありませんし破綻している事もありません。
少し気になったのがフィルムの小傷でしょうか。
フィルムの傷らしきものが極稀に混入しています。
とは言え、ほとんど出ませんし、出ても本当に極稀なのでそこまで気になる事はないかと思います。
ただ、新しめの作品なだけに少し疑問に思いました。
他のBD作品と比べるとそこそこ綺麗な部類に入ると思います。
全体的に地味な画質で、全体的に見れば★3〜4の間といったところでしょうか。
【音質】
音は中々。
重低音は少し軽さが残る音。
こういった作品ですので鳴るシーンは少ないのですが、かなりあっさりした音になっています。
高音は中々よい。
しっかりと音が綺麗に出ており広がりを感じます。
サラウンド感はあまりありません。
作品の性質上仕方ありませんが、静かな音作りになっています。
効果的に取り入れられているBGMなどはクリアで綺麗ですので満足できる。
セリフ部分はクリアで聞き取り易く良好。
大人しい音ですが、この作品に合った忠実な音が再現できていると思います。
【特典】
特典はSD画質でギャグテイク、別エンディング集、セッション、音楽メイキング、PVなど、HD画質でポスターギャラリー。
映像類は全てSD画質での収録は寂しいか。
メイキングなどが収録されていないのも残念。
【総評】
画質/音質はそこそこ満足できると思います。
ただ特典はジャケット裏に書かれているような「ブルーレイならではの特典満載」とは到底言えませんし、収録方法も残念。
作品のファンならお薦めできますが、それ以外の方には疑問が残ります。
