　恋愛経験ゼロ。生真面目に純文学を志すも、出版社の方針により、希望とは裏腹にラノベ作家としてデビューしてしまった主人公・矢文学（通称ブンガク）。通い慣れた図書館に向かったブンガクは、そこで出会った少女・明日葉に一目惚れしてしまう。彼女はブンガクのラノベ作品の大ファンで、聖地巡礼の途中だった。仲良くなろうとするものの、ブンガクは二次元アレルギー、明日葉は腐女子で…。カタブツとフジョシの純愛系ラブコメディ。

　本作を買った動機は、ここのところ増えている内輪ネタの一つだと思い、もののついでに買った物でした。
　しかし実際は、内輪ネタではなく、作家と腐女子の正統派純愛物語でした。

　何故「王道」ではなく「正統派」という言葉を選んだかというと、ヒロインが腐女子という時点で普通とは言えないものの、主人公の純愛模様が丁寧に描かれていて、最近のいわゆるラブコメの王道というのとはちょっと違っていました。

　よくあるヘタレな主人公と気が強いヒロインのパターンではなく、一途で堅物な主人公と腐女子だけれども純真なヒロインという設定は、どちらかというと、まだ青臭さが残っていた一昔前の恋愛マンガっぽいと言えるかもしれません。
　少々ノスタルジックな気分の読後感でした。

　派手な設定も魔法も奇跡もない、等身大の物語。
　テンプレ的なラブコメに食傷気味の方には、却って新鮮な気分で読むことが出来る作品ではないでしょうか。

　純文学作家を目指して書生みたいな恰好をしている青年矢文学が、編集者の薦めでライトノベルを書いたら爆発的なヒットを生み、作中の舞台を巡礼に来ていた少女椎名明日葉に一目ぼれしてしまい、お近づきになろうとするのだが…という作品。
　始まりと終わりがきれいにまとまっているし、相手に少しでも近付こうとして一歩一歩努力する結果として、自分の現在の状況を受け入れて行く、という変遷の描き方も面白いと思う。

　一方で、恋愛という二人の関係性を描いた物語でありながら、矢文学サイドから見た描写がほとんどだった様な気もする。だから、彼が変わっていく姿は実感できるのだけれど、椎名明日葉の変化は、彼の目を通した姿でしか分からなかった。
　友人や編集者など、突っ込めば色々と出てきそうなキャラもいるので、続巻が出るかもしれない。そういった機会に、主人公以外から見た人の姿という視点があっても良い様な気がした。

ラノベ作家と腐女子という一風変わった面子ながらも、
内容は王道の純愛ラブコメディー。

偶然出会って、仲良くなって、うまくいきそうなところで問題が起きて、
落ち込んで、立ち直って解決する。
小細工一切なしの、起承転結をわきまえたストーリー構成に好感が持てる。

また、キャラクターも魅力的で、シリーズ展開も期待したいところである。
