ノリノリなビリー・プレストン。とてもストーンズのライブの前座とは思えない勢い＆ノリでつきすすみます。

OPのビートルズのカバー｢ディ・トリッパー｣からもうファンクなノリでたまりません。しかしじっくり聴かせる所も忘れておりません。キーボードのソロによる｢アメージング・グレイス｣も一聴の価値があると思います。また、ラストの｢アウター・スペース｣にメドレーで含まれる｢アイ･ウォント・トゥ・テイク・ユー・ハイヤー｣の盛り上がりもスライ＆ファミリー・ストーンのそれと比べても何ら遜色ないものと思います。

しかしこんな激しい演奏の後でストーンズのライブが始まったなんて本当当時のヨーロッパの人々がうらやましい！

ビリープレストンが最も脂がのっていた頃のライブだけに
かなりノリノリ
演奏やボーカルにやや荒い面はあるものの、ものすごい勢いです

ストーンズの前座ということで
当時ストーンズのギターだったミックテイラーも参加（疲れて本番に響かんのか？）
ファンクな中にがっちりブルージーなかっこいいソロを聴かせてくれます

1.3.はビートルズのお馴染みのナンバーのカバー
さらに
2.ではスライ＆ファミリーストーンの「ダンス　トゥ　ザ　ミュージック」
9.では「アイ　ウォント　テイク　ユー　ハイヤー」
などが途中で挿入され、ビートルズ好きだけでなくファンク好きにもたまらない内容となっております

最後に音質は
24bitデジタルリマスターでレコードでは聴こえなかった音が聴こえるようになったとライナーノーツにありますが
そうは言えどもやはりライブな音質で、ライブにしてはいいかも、程度です
