　前巻まで、いかにも漫画チックな暗殺者が話に登場したりして、何となく面白いんだけどこの展開何か意味あるのかなー、と感じていましたが、この巻でそのあたりの伏線が見事に回収されています。
　どんな方向に向かうのか分からなかった物語の全容が、ほんのうっすらとですが見えてきた気がします。
　また、物語の展開もさることながら、ココとCIAのブックマン、相対立する二人が共に抱える根源的・圧倒的な孤独感にこの巻では打ちのめされました。

　たとえ優秀な部下や仲間と常に共にあっても、彼らと分かつことの出来ない絶望的な孤独。皮肉にも敵対するココとブックマンの二人が共に同じそれを抱えたまま、どこかに向かおうとしている姿に、心が震えました。
　こんな凄い漫画は久しぶりです。まだまだ伏線が仕込んであるようなので、この先も楽しみです。

ココの、驚愕、懇願、絶望、憎悪
アールの焦燥、達観、信頼、慰め
ヘックスの執念、驚愕、絶望
ブックマンの冷徹、虚無感

極限の銃撃戦下における、全ての感情の爆発、至高の心理戦、そして最悪の結末。。。

最後に、両腕と頼む二人を失ったブックマンが、彼らと幻の会話をする状況に、
余人にはわからない彼の歪んだ、それでいて底知れぬ悲しみを感じた。

ページをめくる手に震えさえ感じる、ここまでの興奮を味わったのは、
「蒼天航路」と「寄生獣」以来。

漫画で表現できる最高のエンターテイメントが、ここにはある。

大体一巻ごとに仲間一人ずつスポットライトがあたるヨルムンガンドですが、今回はアール。 なんかもうだめだった うるっときた ココの今までとは違う面も垣間見ることができます。 ココの「計画」とは一体何なのか 続きが気になります
