第二次世界大戦での一兵士の活躍を描いた3Dアクションシューティングゲーム。プレイヤーは陸軍中尉マイク・パウエルとなり、ノルマンディー上陸作戦など連合軍最大の軍事作戦を追体験していく。ミッションは、AIによって行動する部隊員と協力して遂行し、1つのミッションをクリアすると、達成度・負傷者数・経過した時間によって名誉の勲章が授与され、次のミッションに進むことができる。ほか、目標攻防戦、デスマッチ、ドイツ軍とアメリカ軍、2手に分かれたチーム戦なども可能。兵器・戦艦・戦闘機などの武器や、史実に基づいた当時の作戦やミッションをリアルに再現している。ネットワーク対戦に対応。

このゲームは、メダルオブオナーシリーズで廉価版だそうです。価格が手頃だったので購入しました。
初めてやってみてビックリ。始める前は、簡単なアクションゲームだと思っていたのに、護衛、潜入、変装、奪回などいろんな要素も取り入れられており、長く楽しめた。

銃器もアメリカ軍ドイツ軍のいろんなものがあった。特に私が好きなのは、手榴弾を投げてマシンガンで突撃するアクションです。また、離れた所からのスコープを覗いての狙撃も良いです。

ステージで好きなのは、やっぱり映画「プライベートライアン」でもあったオマハビーチでの作戦です。銃弾の雨の中、無謀な突撃をするのが良いです。とても迫力がありました。

一人称ゲームですので、酔わない人じゃないと苦しいかも知れません。また、特に注意していただきたいのが動作環境です。私は環境があわず、苦労しました。確認してから購入を決めたほうがいいです。

おもしろいですぼくは、マルチプレイしかやらないけど、世界中の人たちとできて値段も手頃でよかった！ドイツ軍のマウザーのボルトアクションの銃が個人的にすきです！
