発売前と発売後の評価の差にビックリ。
メインがCDを出すと言っているのに、シェリル(又はシェリル的なノリ)を求めるのはどうかなと。
全曲菅野氏ではこのアルバムの意味がないと思いました。
このCDでの菅野氏楽曲はいわばマクロスFからのファンに対するクッション材な感じがしました。
だからメインスペースも、マクロス的なノリを期待していたら拍子抜けしてしまう。

それでいいんじゃないかと思います。

ソロシンガー・メインさんは今スタートを切ったんだと思います。

私はいい意味で期待を裏切られました。
全体的に等身大のメインさんを感じられる曲で、メロディはバラードだったりハイテンポなカッコいい曲だったりするんだけど、なんとなく漂う雰囲気はポップでカジュアル。
大胆不敵なシェリルには出せない、素のメインを出そうとしているような気がしました。

あえて希望をあげるなら、あの独特の聴く人を圧倒する胸を締め付けるような歌いっぷりを、もっと素直な、ソフトな感じで歌ってみたらどんな風になるんだろう…と。
情感豊か、表現力がずば抜けてる、そんなメインさんだからこそ、無味乾燥にさらっと歌ったらどんな風になるんだろう…と。
高い歌唱力を持っているからこそ違う表現を見せてほしいなと、かなりワガママな希望を抱いてみたり。

今後も期待大です♪

歌唱力は抜群で聴いていて感動します。いつまでも菅野さんやマクロス、シェリルに頼っていてはMay'nさんの才能が潰れてしまうと思うので、今回ミニアルバムが出てよかったと思います。

でも、もっとMay'nさんの声質をわかってくれる人が作曲をした方がいいと思う。
次に期待です。

マクロスFのシェリルとmay'nを同一視している人にはオススメしない。
なぜなら、このアルバムのmay'nの歌声はシェリルと雰囲気の違う物だからだ。
しかし、マクロスFから流れてこのアルバムを購入した人は
マクロスFの楽曲において、may'nは「シェリル」として歌で演技をしていたことに気付かされ、
彼女の才能に舌を巻くことになるだろう。

このアルバムにはmay'n自ら作詞作曲した歌が2曲収録されており、そのどちらも聴きごたえがある。
与えられた楽曲を歌うだけではなく、音楽家としてもこの先大成するのではないだろうか。
