ようやく松本零士氏と和解できましたね。

約１年４ヶ月ぶりのリリースとなった今作、槇原本人は今までの作品とは大きく違うとホームページで述べていました。期待半分、不安半分（変な方向に向かっていたらどうしよう・・・と）でリリースを待っていました。

「ムゲンノカナタヘ~To infinity and beyond~」ですが聞いた感じは確かに槇原の今までの曲に例えられるものはないと思いました。しかし、槇原がコンセプトとしている「ライフソング」らしさはこの曲にも感じられ、聴くと元気が出るという源点で今までの作品と大きな違いはありません。前向きに生きていく勇気をもらえます。

ギターの効いたサウンドで、サビは高音寄りのメインボーカルに高音のハミング、低音×２の４部で構成されています。躍動感あふれるメロディーで、私だけかもしれませんが耳に残って脳内リピートしてしまいます。

カップリングの「冬のコインランドリー」は何気ない日常を繊細に描写しバラードに仕上げられています 。９０年代の槇原を髣髴とさせる曲です。

この曲で改めて槇原敬之は売上や流行にとらわれず自己を表現できる数少ないアーティストの一人だと再認識しました。

マッキーのデビュー２０周年の記念だから
なんとなく・・・という気持ちで購入したのですが、
思っていたより良かったです。

「ムゲンノカナタヘ」は
今までにないようなアグレッシブな曲で
自分まで弾けて元気になってきます。
マッキーの曲の中では、新しいジャンルの曲調だと思います。
コンサートでも盛り上がりそうです。

「冬のコインランドリー」は
聴いていてどこかほっとできる、ほのぼのとした冬らしい曲です。
マッキーの繊細さやナヨナヨしたところが絶妙に活きている
やわらかでなつかしい曲です。

今のマッキーのように、新しく何かを始めたい人にオススメの一枚です。
パワーもらえます。

なんだかスゴイことになってますな。
ディストーション･ギターに乗って物凄くポジティブなことをなんかキメテる感じのハイテンションで歌い上げとりますんで、はからずしも笑ってしまった。
彼の魅力はマイノリティに特有のネガティブ感だと思うし、自分はそこに共感を覚えていたんで、SMAPが歌ってHITした例の曲みたいな開き直ったポジティブさにはちょっと違和感というか戸惑いを覚えます。
カップリングはいつものマッキー節で高感度大。
このナヨナヨした曲は、妙な生々しさも含めて私は全面的に支持しますが、きっと新宿二丁目界隈でも受けること確実と思いますヨ。
