「101匹わんちゃん」のクルエラや「アラジン」のジャファー、「ピーター・パン」のフック船長といったディズニー映画の悪役たちが「ハウス・オブ・マウス」のステージからミッキーを押しのけられると思うなら、考え直したほうがいい。ディズニー・キャラクターの大物であるミッキーは、ハロウィーン戦争で悪役たち（彼らが団結するのも前代未聞だ）をやっつけて、さわやかなだけじゃないということを証明してみせている。抱腹絶倒のシーンでは、ミッキーが進行役の大任を務める。見どころは、クラシック・ディズニーのキャラクターたちによるズッコケぶりだ。でしゃばりな魔女がひょっこりやってくるとドナルドがしくじり、幽霊役で「来世に一度の」名演技を見せるグーフィーも失敗の連続。「ハウス・オブ・マウス」で客席の明かりがつくころには悪役たちが舞台から叩き出されていくが、このときに流れる唯一の歌「イッツ・アワ・ハウス・ナウ！」は、感心するほど出来がいい。ショーマンシップにあふれる映画というわけではないが目まぐるしい長編作品で、手を替え品を替え、といった具合に工夫を凝らしている。ディズニー・ファンなら踊りまわるに違いない。（Tammy La Gorce, Amazon.com）
