メールによるサポートの返信に４日間、これは困っているユーザーにとって遅過ぎます。しかも文章の日本語が少し変で、もしかしたら中国などにサポートを外注しているのではと勝手に想像しています。
ただし、動作自体は非常に軽くて快適です。

2.0 out of 5 stars ウイルスメール受信後、メールが受信できなくなった, 2004/8/31
私も安さに魅かれてノートンからマカフィーに乗り換えた口ですが、はっきり言ってやめときゃよかった。ウイルスの感知能力そのものは大した差が無いと思いますが、「ウイルスメールを自動的に駆除しました」と大きく表示されたままで、その後に進展しなくなるのは本当に頭に来ます。「テクニカルサポート」の画面を見ると、「よくあるお問い合わせ」の第六位に、「ウイルス受信後にメール受信が出来ない現象について」とあり、これがありふれたケースだとマカフィー自身が認めているのです。そして、「この問題の完全な修正については現在調査中です」と来た！　一体いつまで待てばいいのですか、マカフィーさん。
というわけで、気の長い方以外にはオススメ出来ません。あしからず。

キャンペーン価格の安さにひかれて買いました。スキャンする時間はPCに付いてたアンチウィルス2004お試し版と比較すると若干遅いようですが、PCを起動したときの立ち上がりはウィルススキャンのほうが多少速いようでイッテコイかなと思います。このソフトは悪くはないと思いますが、更新料はアンチウィルス等より僅かながらでも高めみたいだし特にお薦めでもないですね。
