つい、この前、東京の大型電器店で「皆様お待たせのOffice2003最終入荷、このチャンスを逃すと二度と手に入りません！」と派手に宣伝していました。案の定、1週間足らずで完売！

半年ほど前の調査ですが、職場で使われているOfficeのバージョンでは2003が一番多いようです。現行バージョンの2007は10%にも満たない。
XP＋2003だと全く問題なく作業できたのが、VISTA＋2007にした途端、重い、(動作が)おかしい、使い方がわからないの三重苦に、Standardだと「定価」は2003並に高い！
ビジネスユーザがそっぽを向くのも当然です。

まあ、ＭＳにも「面子」がありますから、Office2003という名前での再発売はできないでしょう。それなら、Office Classicとでも名前を変えて売り出せばよい。
いわゆる「アップグレードバージョンなみの価格(事実上のダウングレードなのだが・・・)」なら、結構売れると思います。

慣れの問題だと言われればそれまでですが、
タスクバーに収納したIMEのアイコンから
右クリックのコンテクストメニューが出なくなっていたり、
wordのメニューからしか単語登録できなくなっていたりして、
office2000からバージョンアップすると、とても使い勝手が悪くなったように感じます。

いくつかの機能を統合して使いやすくすることを狙っているのでしょうが、
狙いが外れたようです。

全体的に丸っこいデザインも、
小さなディスプレイの中では幅を取ってしまうのでやめてほしく、
クラシックスタイルを選択できるようにしてほしかったです。
