毎年素敵なゲストを迎え、夏にブルーノート東京でライブを行っている
ジョイス。このアルバムは、彼女が東京でのライブ１０周年を記念
して、日本のファンに向けて自ら企画・プロデュースしたものです。
デュエットのお相手は、トニーニョ・オルタ、ジョアン・ドナート
、ジョニー・アルフ、ワンダ・サー、そして愛娘アナ・マルチンスと、

いずれもジョイスと縁の深いアーティストばかり。どの曲を聴いても、
ジョイスとゲスト・アーティストのパートナーシップが生み出す音の
小気味よさ、心地よさに酔いしれます。特にジョアン・ドナート
と歌うルガール・コムンは最高です！

ライナーノーツを読みますと、本アルバムで典型的ボサノヴァの曲と言えるのは１曲目の「あなたと私」だけだそうです。
（これは確かによく知らぬ私でも聞いたことのある有名な曲・・・・）
ボサノヴァとその発展形と歴史の感じられるアルバムというのか。
（古臭くなんかないです）

中に入っているそれぞれの共演者との２ショット写真がまた素敵。
他の方のレビューにある「音楽の絆」という感じですよ！

こういうこと書いたらファンはどう思うのかな、
ジョイスは歌が上手だけど、他の人たちは、中には必ずしも上手（歌手として考えた場合に）とは言えない人もいて。
でもその「ヘタウマ」な感じが、ボッサなんだろうなあ、と思う。とても味のある声なんですね。
いみじくもジョアン・ジルベルトが「君は僕を音痴というけど、これがボサノヴァなんだ」と歌ったように（本アルバムには収録されてません、念の為）。

ＣＤでなく、ライヴで聴いたらさらに素敵だろうな、愉しいだろうな、と思えます。

クールでおしゃれなイメージもあるんですが、親しみやすく距離の近い音楽でもある。
いいですね、ギターを抱えたジョイス。

恒例となったジョイス７月のBlue Note公演。
この時期が来ると夏を感じる方も多いのではないだろうか。
ジョイスの来日公演は'85に始まり、'88に再来日。
Blue Note初演は'91で、'93,'95~以後毎年と続く。

毎回様々なアーティストを呼び共演する。
日本では知名度が低いが実力のあるアーティストの存在を
この機に知った方も多いかと思う。

毎年多くの方が待ち望むこのイベントもかなりの回数を数えた。
ゲストとのデュエット作品という形で記念碑的なアルバムを
作らないか？というジョイスの思い付きから作られたのが
このアルバム作成の発端だ。

過去の公演の中から厳選を重ねられ選ばれたゲストは５人。

ジョニー･アルフ、ジョアン･ドナートの大御所、
ワンダ･サー、トニーニョ･オルタの同窓生、
そして娘のアナ･マルチンス。

三世代に渡って構成されるゲスト人で作られる音のコンセプトは
新世代のボサノバ。ボサノバ創世記からポストボサノバ世代そして
次世代ではどんな音が作られるのだろうか。
そんなブラジル音楽の展望をこの作品に見ることが出来る。
