個々の曲では前作『AMAZING TOYS』の方が好きだが、１曲目からラストナンバーまで一気に聞かせてしまうこのアルバムは、まったく凄い。渾身のトータルアルバムである。
歌手、ソングライター、プロデューサーがトライアングルのように力を合わせ、最高の力を出しきった傑作。
発売当時、これは間違いなく女性版の「A LONG VACATION」（大瀧詠一）だと思ってゾクゾクした記憶がある。
リマスターで音はクリアになり、ライブ感が増した。
今回収録されたライブ音源のボーナストラックも嬉しい。
（とくに「見上げてごらん夜の星を〜心の中のプラネタリウム」のメドレーがいい）

個人的なことをいえば、「I LOVE YOU」も、「フロントガラス越しに」も、「雨の遊園地」も、「いつかこの都会で」も、このアルバムに収録されたどの曲も、
聴くたび、あの日だまりのように平和な1980年代前半の時代を思い出してしまう。

今までのキュートでポップな曲は少し陰を潜め、グッと大人の、AORティストを全面に出した本作品。個人的には薫ちゃんのアルバムではこれが一番好きだ。田口俊の詩(本作品の全ての詩を担当)が薫ちゃんの大人の部分を巧い具合いに引き出している。やはり「悲しき恋のマンディ」がグッと心を掴む、そして薫ちゃんには珍しいハードロックティストの「涙のランデブー」やコーラスが素敵な「エイミーの卒業」などなど。大人の魅力タップリの薫ちゃんが楽しめますよ!
