仕事柄、多くのレストランに行きますが、森田シェフのシャポンファン
は別格中の別格のお店です。その森田シェフの本が出ると聞いて、
発売日に購入しました。本書にはその森田シェフのノウハウが
余すことなく掲載されています。普通よく作るようなメニューも、
プロの「ひと手間」でこれだけ味が変わるものかと感銘を受けました。
挿絵もレストランの雰囲気をとてもよく表現していて、
ページをめくるだけでも「心地よい」本です。

ＴＶチャンピオンで優勝したシェフの料理が、家でもチャレンジできそうなレシピとして紹介されていて、好感触。また、フルカラーで、この価格はリーズナブルかも。

この本に載っている「トマトのコンポート」は、あっさりしていてとってもおいしいです。簡単に出来るし、見た目もきれいです。「ポテトのクリーム煮」も簡単にできて、お勧めです。「野菜のピクルス」も何度も作りました。「アボカドのアーモンド揚げオーロラソース」はちょっと油っぽかった。「セロリのオレンジ煮」はそこそこおいしかったです。「ペッパーポークはちみつソース」と「ラムとひよこ豆のスープ仕立て」は、私にはちょっと？な味でしたが、外国人にはうけるかもしれません。
材料が手に入りにくいとか、時間がかかりそうなレシピもありますが、とても簡単でおいしい、いくつかの料理の為だけにでも、手に入れる価値はあった本です。
今までいろいろな料理本を購入して、まったく作らなかったり、1つか2つしか作らないまま放置したものも多いので、自分の定番料理になったレシピが今のところ3つあっただけでも、この本に満足しています。
