　先日友人宅でJapanビデオ大会をしたんですが、20年前の画質はハッキリいってちょっとボヨヨンとしていました。それはそれで隔世の念を感じて懐かしかったですが...

　ちょうどこのDVDを購入したてだったので（ハードがなくて見れないのに...笑）パソコンで観てみたところ、あまりの画質の良さにみんなで倒れそうになり、壁紙にしたり大変でした。さっきまで同じものを観ていたとは思えない画質で、色まで違ったのは流石にビックリです。（そして、全員速攻買い...を決心したようです）

　できれば、その後のJapanとDavid SylvianをまとめたDVDも出たらいいなと思います。（すっごく綺麗だろうなぁ）

20年を経てついにDVD化された、JAPAN初期のビデオクリップ集。リアルタイムのファンには感泣ものです。当時はＭＴＶもなく、「動いている」JAPANを見ようと思ったら殆どコンサートしかなかった。。「コミュニスト・チャイナ」や「孤独な安らぎ」では、ギターを弾きながら歌うデヴィッドが見られます！スティーブやリチャードが演奏しながらふてくされ顔なのも微笑ましい。照れてたんでしょうね。。「クワイエット・ライフ」は、小さな会場でのライブ映像のようで、これがあるなら他の曲もDVD化してほしい！と欲が出てしまいます。

私がJAPANのファンになってからはや23年、腹も出て頭も薄くなった今になってもJAPANファンはやめられない。そんな中待望のDVD登場。私にとっては映像による初期JAPAN初体験。期待以上の内容に青春時代にタイムスリップしてしまいました。残念なのは曲数の少なさ。それにしても最高！
