'73年英国Rock勢とのLondon Session後　次にBoさんが向かったのはﾊﾟｰｶｯｼｮﾝ・ﾎｰﾝを大胆に導入し洗練されたJazz Funk Soundだった！一見　ﾐｽﾏｯﾁ？と思いきやこれが又　ﾋﾟﾀﾘと嵌る心地よい名盤に仕上がった。
　伝説のJazzﾌﾟﾛﾃﾞｭｰｻｰ　Esmond Edwardsを向かえNYのsession Menを中心に録音された'74発表盤。全曲CD化は世界初となる。
　緩いんだけど、強烈な（すいません　解って欲しい表現です）ﾌﾞﾚｲｸﾋﾞｰﾄを中心に据えたｱﾚﾝｼﾞも最高にCoolだ。かつて" Bo Diddley's Dog"でもやった「犬物」が#1から登場。「噛むでぇ〜」だもん。曲中で成り切って吼えてます。ﾊﾊ。#3 Oddetta GordonのやってたHit Or Missはﾘﾗｯｸｽした中にも大きくうねるﾘｽﾞﾑがﾆｭｰｵﾘﾝｽﾞ色濃厚なﾅﾝﾊﾞｰ。近年 Hip Hop系ｱｰﾃｲｽﾄ De La SoulのBuddyにｻﾝﾌﾟﾘﾝｸﾞされ再評価されたﾅﾝﾊﾞｰ。#5 Stop The Pusherは黒人街の暗部を垣間見る映画のﾜﾝｼｰﾝの様なとぐろを巻く黒さが魅力的な曲。
　'50年代後半〜'60年代前半以外は殆ど黙殺されているBoさんですが、これを機会に'70年代の想像力豊かだったFunk期も再評価される事を熱望する。
