DISK２にリミックスが２曲追加。目玉はDISK４だろう。内容はというと、２作目と３作目の未収録スコアが６曲で４１分、デモが２曲で７分、加えてリミックス６曲。デモ２曲は１作目制作時にジマーが作ったメインテーマと、２作目の時のピアノソロ（ジマーがピアノを弾いている）。ＤＶＤでジマーが語っているように、メインテーマなどを２日で書き上げ、デモを製作した後、クラウス・バデルトにバトンタッチしたわけで、このデモはすべての原型ということです。ファンなら持っていてもいいかも。ＤＶＤは３作製作後に行われた座談会、録音風景、ディズニーランドでのプレミア上映会で行われたライヴ。ジマーがギターを弾く光景が見られます。

豪華なボックスにフォトカードなどのオマケが入ったトレジャーズ版。ディスク枚数は4枚となっていますが、従来のCD3枚と編曲した1枚、プラスにハンスジマーのインタビューなどを収録したDVDの5枚組です。以前、日本限定で発売されたリミテッド・エディションのディスク2にプラスされたのは良いですが、ディスク1は逆に減って通常版と同じ収録。そしてディスク3も通常版と全く同じです。ディスク面のプリントまで同じなのですから全くの同一製品でしょう。各ディスクのジャケットは紙製になっているのでコスト削減？ディスク3だけは外国仕様のデザイン。（せめてディスク面のデザインくらいは変えて欲しかった…）ディスク2、4を目当てでの購入となりますが、どうせなら1もリミテッド・エディションと同じにして欲しかった。おまけのDVDへの期待度は微妙です。パイレーツファンは既にCDを持っているでしょうから、まるっきりの買い直し（disc1と3）があるのは少々悲しいです。せめてスーパーCD仕様とか何かなかったのでしょうか？？？何度も美味しい商法っぽくて残念。ボックスの作りはしっかりしていてお洒落ですが…。

自分はパイレーツサントラを1〜3すべて持ってます！
それでも買いました！３枚持っててこの価格・・・正直かなり悩みました
でも今は買ってよかったです。４枚目のディスクはそれほどに価値があります
特に３のサントラ好きならハマるでしょう。
かゆい所に手が届くみたいに、もう一度感動させられます。なぜあの曲が入ってないんだ？
と、思っててこのディスクには入ってた。それだけで十分過ぎるくらいです。
ただこの価格・・・４枚目のディスク自体は☆５ですが、、、価格も考慮して星３で・・・
