パケ写にしてすでにこの百式はそのべらぼうな可動範囲を惜しげもなく見せてくれています。
全重量の約80％をダイキャスト部品が占めるため、プラモやMIAではあり得ない『無茶』なバランスでのポーズが可能です。
中でも劇中ではなかった格闘技風のポーズは驚嘆に値します。頭より足の方が高い…どころか、思い切り『かかと落とし』が再現でき、しかも倒れません。この機体がまるで『Z』ではなく『Gガンダム』に出ていたものかと勘違いしてしまいそうなほどです。
他にも『ライフル両手保持』とか『膝つき』そしてもちろん『MBL射撃姿勢』など多彩なプレイバリューを見せてくれます。
また、価格が高い分？金メッキの質が他の百式製品よりずっとよく、とても美しいです。
最近はHG（金メッキではないですが…）やMIAでもメガバズーカランチャーつきのものがありますが、標準添付はこの製品が最初でしたし、可変の再現や本体とのバランスも私はこれが一番美しいと思います。(MIAなどは多分この図面を素に起こしているのでMBLがでかすぎるように感じる；というか、本体が小さいだけですが。）
欠点といえば、ややバックパックの本体への固定がゆるいことですが、外した方が発射ポーズとかそのほかにも『美観』上の調整がやりやすいのでその為の仕様なのだと思います。
あと強いてあげるなら、裏側から見るとネジ頭(これも金メッキされている）が見える箇所があることと、バックパックのバーニアの再現が控えめなことですが、その分強度は高くなっているともいえるでしょう。
なおスケールは1/144ですが、HGなどと比べると実寸は少し大きめです。
少々お高いですが同シリーズのZやZZに比べても格段に出来がよく、百式好きならば是非入手していただきたい逸品ですね。

高いなぁ・・・と思って購入したのですが驚きました！！
この稼動範囲はすごすぎると思います！！
正直かって損はしないと思います。色々なポーズをとらせることが出来飽きないですねぇ・・・
毎日ポーズを変えて楽しんでます！！

百式はそんなに思い入れのあるMSではありませんでしたがここで安く販売していたのを見て思わず衝動買いしてしまいました。
流石に可動戦士を謳うだけあってよく動きます、ただ関節類がやや緩く特に腰回りはグネグネとした印象をもちましたがポージングをキープ出来ない事は無いので良しとします。
殆どのパーツが金属製なのでその重量感や触れた時の冷たい感覚は百式のイメージに合っていていいですね、ディテールではプラモには敵わないかもしれませんがいじって遊ぶ玩具としてはこれが最高ではないでしょうか、ただみなさんの言うとうりランドセルの固定が緩いです。
武器類も完璧に付属しているのが嬉しいですね、特にメガバズーカランチャーは変形も見事に再現しているので高いのも頷けます。
百式は永野氏のデザインだそうですがやはりテレビと言う制約もありFSSに出てくるメカ程の妖艶さはありませんが細かくみれば随所にそのデザインエッセンスが生かされている美しいMSだと思います。
