『メタルシャフト』と違って、付属のトリガーメモリを入れなくても通常の銃撃音が出ます。
でもって、付属のトリガーメモリを入れれば、『マキシマムドライブ！』の音声とともに必殺技が別に鳴ります。

それにライダー関連の銃型玩具が

飾りが回るだけの『バッシャーマグナム』
カードも音声も少ない『ライドブッカー』
音声の再現がイマイチだった『ディエンドライバー』

と不作続きだったので、個人的にはうれしさ倍増です（笑）。


さらにここから先はダブルドライバーとメモリガジェットを持ってる人に限られますが。

『スタッグフォン』や『スパイダーショック』、これから発売予定の『バットショット』。
そのままだとメタルシャフト同様『ただつけるだけ』になってしまうのですが
これらに本来のメモリでなく『ダブルドライバー』付属の右側にさし込む『サイクロン・ヒート・ルナメモリ』の3種を差しこむと
『マキシマムドライブ！』の音声とともにベルトとは別の必殺技音が鳴ります。
（実際、テレビ本編の5話でスタッグフォンにヒートメモリをさし込んで攻撃してます）

これを利用して、マグナムにメモリガジェットを取りつけて、二つのメモリをさし込むことで
名前の通り『W（ダブル）マキシマムドライブ！』なんて事ができたりします。
ひそかに本編でもやらないかなーと期待してたり。

とりあえず、ベルト、ガジェット、武器の三種類集めると、こんな遊び方も出来ると気づいたので書き込んでみました。


プレイバリューの広さを語っておいて、商品の話に戻りますが
欲を言えば、通常の銃撃音が1パターンしかなかった事が残念です。
これ単体だと音声が2パターンしかないんですよね……。
それだけが本当に惜しいと思いました。

3歳の息子に買ってあげたら一日中遊んでました。
グリップ前の斜めになっている部分に、上からメモリを入れて遊ぶようにできています。
メモリを入れると必殺技の準備音が鳴り、銃口を覗いたときだけメモリから出る光が見えます。
斜めになっている部分を引き上げ、トリガを引くと爆発音が鳴ります。

安全性：
稼動部内にメモリを入れて遊ぶようにできているので、遊ぶ前に注意したのに5分で指を挟みました。
びっくりしてましたがそんなに痛くなかったようです。
とがった部分は無いので大怪我することは考えにくいですが、2人で遊んだりするときは注意が必要です。

サウンド：
トリガメモリから出る必殺技の発動音が「カチッ」だけです。
メタルシャフトに入れて遊ぶとと始めは盛り上がるのに、ボタンを押すと「あれ？どうした？こわれた？」って感じになります。
必殺技の最後の音が本体から出てるので、どのメモリを使ってもあまり違和感を感じませんでした。

ガイアメモリは面白いシステムです。ただ、トリガーメモリは一番サウンドが少ないですね。

その理由はマグナム自体にサウンドが入っており、必殺技の音もこちらから出ます。そのため、メモリには必殺技待機音までしか入っておらず、他の商品のマキシマムスロットやメモリガジェットシリーズにトリガーメモリを装填しても『トリガー!マキシマムドライブ!』のあとに『カチャッ』という音しかしませんorz

だから他の商品では必殺技という感じがしません。

あと、必殺技音のときに銃口が光らない意味が分かりません。(待機音のときは光るんですが発動音では光らないってちょっと……)
しかし他のメモリ装填したら必殺技発動中にきちんと光ってきれいでした♪

ダブルはかっこいいし面白いので、ベルト持ってたら買うべきですね。

しかし上に書いたように少し残念だったので★3つで。
