仕事柄タイを訪れることが多く、そのたびに夜遊びを楽しんできた私だが、バンコクの夜がここまで進んでいるとは正直言って驚いた。タイの風俗を扱った本はそれこそ書店に溢れているが、それらのどれもが広く浅くの概括的な紹介に終わっているのに対し、本書はバンコクのマッサージパーラー（ソープランドみたいなも）に焦点をしぼり、５０軒を越えるお店のすべてをパンフレット風に並べることにより、読者が自分の予算と好みに合わせてお店を選べるようにまで作り込んである。上級者をもうならせる徹底取材でありながら、海外風俗が初めての人でも安心して遊べるよう、地図、アクセス方法、価格（これでボッタクられる心配なし）などもきちんと明記してある。バンコクの夜遊びは多種多様だが、「マッサージパーラーこそタイが世界に誇れる快楽風俗である」という著者の意見に私も賛成だ。数ある類似書とは段違いのレベルを誇る特選の１冊！　買って損なし。

　ハッキリ言ってかなりお薦めです。他のレビューには「2000、2001年に調査された」と書かれていますが、掲載されている店舗や値段などから推測して、少なくとも2001年後半に調査したものだと思います。いずれにしろ、これだけの数の風俗店舗を一冊にまとめた力量には脱帽！　

　値段等、時間とともに変化していくのは当然のことであり、それを差し引いても充分に情報としての価値があると思います。この本でバンコク風俗界の全体像を掴み、好みの店舗の最新情報はネットもしくは自分の足で確認するというのが正しい使い方でしょう。本の情報にだけ頼りきって「騙された」などと考えるのは見当違いではないでしょうか。何人かの知人にも紹介しましたが、みんな「役に立った！」と満足しています。

　とにかく、バンコク初心者からかなりのベテランまで、バンコクを訪れる時に持って行って損のない一冊だと思います。

この本は全くお勧めできない本だと思います。なぜならばこれは2000、2001年ぐらいに調査された物であり、それからまったく調査して更新されてないのですから、情報がすごく古いからです。風俗業界など立ち代りは激しいので作者には毎回調査して更新してもらいたいです。私はこれを購入して騙された感じです。私のほかにも犠牲者が出ないためにもこの場を借りてレビューを投稿することにしました。
