今回買った理由は、パソコンモニタでPS3の音声を出すために購入しました。結果は、成功でした。パソコンモニタでは、DVI端子で音がでないみたいです。（HDMI端子が用いられるパソコンモニタでは音が出る）なので、音声を出すためにAVケーブルの赤と白をくっつけ、それを音声出力されるところにさしました。見事に音声が出ました。映像は、HDMItoDVI変換端子を使いました。

すいません。わかりづらいと思いますが、結果的には良かったということです。

私がこの変換機を使おうと思った理由は、ゲームの音声をパソコンに録音したかったからです。
パソコンのサウンドボードにはLINE入力端子があります。一方、私が持っているゲーム機(Wiiなど)の音声出力はRCAです。この変換機を使えば、2本のRCAを1本のステレオミニプラグにまとめることができます。これで、私の環境でもステレオ録音することができます。
録音した印象は、素人の私には十分な音質に思えます。耳で聞こえるようなノイズはありません。私と同様の用途で購入を考えている方は安心して購入してください。

また、この変換機はステレオミニプラグ→RCAという操作もできます。おそらく携帯ゲーム機や音楽プレーヤの音声をTVやAV機器などで鳴らす・録音するのに使えると思います。試した結果、こちらも素人の私の耳で聞けば劣化はないように感じます。ただし、形状を見れば一目瞭然ですが、こちらの用途で使う方は、別途RCAケーブルが必要です。ちなみにステレオとモノラルを切り換えるスイッチがあるので便利です。

品質には問題ありませんので、値段だけ見て購入するかどうか考えてください。

Xbox360をPCモニターで遊ぶのに私のディスプレイは、スピーカーがついていなかったのでこちらを購入しました。
この商品をサンワサプライ 木製2.1chマルチメディアスピーカー MM-SPWD3BKのLINE端子に接続して使用しています。
価格も安いので満足です。
