　「ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ」から「ハレグゥ」にとタイトルが変わり、そこからまた幾年月−−遂にこのシリーズも完結ですか。感慨深いです。惜しいです。もっと読みたいです。つか、終わらないでくれよぉぉぉ！！！……すみません、思いのままに書いていたら暴走しました。
　シュール、理不尽、妄想チック、でも最後の最後はいつもキッツくどこまでもリアル。そんなハレとグゥとのやりとりに何度笑わされ苦笑いさせられ、そして心突き刺されたことか。それを全て思い出すにはしかし、大分年月を遡らなければならなくなってしまいました。1997年から連載開始にして単行本は前シリーズのものも含め全20冊、ああこの作品とも何時の間にかこんなにも長い付き合いになっていましたか。そりゃ、読んでいる私も年を取っている筈です……。
　そうしようと思えばいつまでも続けていけそうなこの作品、終わらせるにあたりどう〆てくるかと思いきや最もスタンダードにして王道の展開できましたね。その挙句の壮大なオチには1ページ前で気付きましたが、これはもう完全に私の負けということでいいです、はい。何もかもが大変で、でも何もかもが楽しかったろうハレがグゥと過ごした時間こそ、私達もまた体験しそして忘れてしまった「在りし日の子供の頃の日々」そのもの。それをまた大人になり思い出させ楽しませてくれた金田一先生、本当にありがとうございました！

「ジャングルはいつもハレのちグゥ」が大好きです。
全巻持ってます。
絵もギャグも今読んでもやはり凄く面白い。
けれども、「ハレグゥ」になってから、どんどんマンネリ化。
昔は面白かっただけに残念でたまらなかった。
ウェダはヒロインから降板されて、平凡な母親に。
グゥはあの楽しい派手な大暴れをしなくなって傍観者モードに。
ハレはすっかりすれたイヤなキャラに。
マリィは自分のことが好きで当然！と優しくもせず、しかもその気持ちを「重たい」とまで…。
こんな男がどうしてモテるんですか？
ダメ男に育つ未来の方がリアルでした。
かつて自分を傷つけたクライヴを赦し、結婚までしたウェダの成熟振りに比べて、無理があり過ぎる。
色々と反省したクライヴの方が余程ましです。
（彼のような母に対するトラウマも無かったのに）
美少女殺し屋集団によるハレ争奪戦と性別転換ネタぐらいしか、思い返しても印象に残っていません。
ダマの話も無意味にしつこい。
もう、ダラダラ続けないで潔く早く終わって欲しかった。
オチも予想内。
「ニコイチ」に集中していればよかった。

金田一先生お疲れ様でした。

最後のオチは最もハレグゥらしいオチで最高でした。

小学生のころから読んでいた漫画なだけあって、物凄く淋しいです。

たくさん笑わせてもらいました!マジで感謝してます。

これからも沢山の漫画を描いていって下さい。次回作期待してます。(できればその後のハレやグゥたちもみたいです。)
