スティーヴィーの代表曲ともいえる１曲目に始まり、終始プレイを堪能できるアルバム。
個人的にヴゥードゥーチャイルなどはジミヘンのオリジナルよりも鬼気迫っていてカッコいいと思う。
アルバム全体を通してＳＲＶの魂が炸裂している１作だ。

このアルバムはStevie Ray Vaughan And Double Troubleの２作目だ。代表曲のひとつ、疾走感がある１から始まり、カッコイイカッティングが冴える２。熱気が迸るJimi Hendrixの有名曲のカバー４。そして本編最後。Steivie自身はグラントグリーンやケニーバレル、ウエスモンゴメリーなどのジャズギタリストにも影響を受けており、この本編最後の曲は、Stevieの作品の中でもその影響がとてもよく出ている。
それからボーナストラック。本人による、ブルースやHide awayに関するインタビューときて、クラプトンなどがカバーしたことで有名なフレディキングのギターインスト曲「Hide away」。
