『日常の謎』的な作品5本が収められた連作短編集です．

中心となる人物の言動や性格，やや気取った雰囲気など，
登場人物や世界観がほかのそれらより丁寧に描かれていて，
ただの『日常の謎』でおわっていないのが楽しいところです．

また，連作なのですが順に繋がっているのではなく，
それぞれの作品の時間が前後しているのが特徴的です．
とはいうものの，繋がりをややこしく感じることはなく，
読んでいるうちに自然と気づき「ニヤリ」とさせられます．

ほかにも，全編をとおして絡んでくる父と子の関係や，
盲目の成年をめぐる少しチクリとさせられるやり取りと，
楽しいだけではない物語としての読みごたえもじゅうぶん．

短編ということもあって読みやすく，おすすめの1冊です．

ユーモアがちりばめられていて、めちゃおもしろかったです。
登場人物が個性的なのと、強盗事件や誘拐事件が起きるのに、なかなかシリアスでにはならない。
短編集だけど陣内を中心に全話繋がっていて、すらすらと読めるのにしっかり濃縮されていて読み応えがありました♪
陣内は「俺と一緒に世界が時間を止めた」と言っちゃうくらい、型破りで自己中で破天荒だけどなぜか憎めない不思議な人。それが、面白いし魅力的で、時々爽快で。最初は鼻持ちならない感じもしたけど、読んでる内に好きになりました。
読んだ後に気持ちがほっこりして、また読み返したくなりました☆

と、思った。
陣内の存在が。
若気の至りとはいえ、周囲の見えないやつめ！
空気を読め！
と。

しかし、２本目の作品に出てくる陣内は、
同一人物でありながら、印象が違う。
いや、中身が変わっているわけではなく、
むしろ何にも変わってなかったんだろうな〜と思う。
１本目の作品では、陣内よりも鴨居や永瀬の存在を際立たせておいて、
実は全編の軸になっているのは陣内！という手法に
やられた！！！！！と思った。
そして最後は何故か陣内を人間的に好きになっていて、
またしてもやられた！！！！という感じがする。
