インドの古代よりの神々への賛歌は我々日本人の持つ自然への想いや古典芸能の起源のひとつを強く感じることでしょう。同時に全く日本ではないインドを聞くことができその両極性の間に心が漂い何をか想うあるいは無に帰すことでしょう。ただひとつ残念なのはラビシャンカール自身によるシタールの演奏がないことです。星４つです。

　私はインド好きでヒンドゥー教のチャント（お経みたいなもの）もよく聞きます。この作品はシタールと人の声がメインで、落ち着いた、ゆったりしたリズムで、神様への讃歌が唱えられています。
　
　でもそれほど宗教色が強いわけでもなく、どちらかというとインドの古典音楽という感じです。ですので、多彩なインドの音楽の一面に触れるにはすごく良いと思います。

　インドのインド人向けではなくて、ヨーロッパを中心としたインドの外の人たち向けです。

　うれしいのは、各チャントに対する歌詞ついています（英語）！！インドの世界を堪能しましょう。
