5.0 out of 5 stars 忙しくても、創れてしまう、名曲ぞろい。, 2008/9/12
毎度毎度のことながら、素晴らしい、捨て曲ゼロの作品群。
ふざけた（勿論、いい意味で！）1曲目で唖然とさせられた途端、
2曲目のあまりにも優しい、心の琴千を直撃するような歌に見事にやられる。
3.の中国風楽曲は空気を浄化するような情緒ある作品。
4.はタイトルとは似つかわしくない、爽快な、走り出したくなるような曲。
5.と10.は、文句のつけようのない美しいバラード。

映画に主演し、ワールドツアーをこなし、映画をまるごと製作しながら、
これだけのアルバムも創ってしまう。「天才だから」と言ってしまえば
それまでだが、それにしても、あきれるほどである。

これも毎度のことながら、日本語の曲名は誠によろしくない。
日本人なら、漢字の持つ雰囲気を味わえるのでは。

前作はソシアル・ダンスの曲があったり思いきり中国的な雰囲気の曲があったりして、全体的に落ち着いた雰囲気のアルバムでした。でも今回は、今までの雰囲気とガラリと違う、カントリーテイストを取り込んだ明るい曲も披露してくれました。オープニングのその曲に象徴されるように、全体として爽やかな軽やかさがあるように思います。歌い方も、肩に力が入ってない自然な感じです。確か今回のアルバムから、新しく立ち上げた自分のレーベルから出版しているはず。それまでのレコード会社から独立するに当たって、相当すったもんだしたと聞いています。(彼ほどのビッグアーティストに辞められたら、会社としてはそれは大打撃でしょう。)そんな経緯もあったからこそ、何もかも一段落してホッとした彼の心情が、このアルバムに表れているのかもしれません。
誰かが指摘していたように、最近のアルバムは曲の並びがパターン化していて多少マンネリといえなくもないですが、毎回いろいろな事にチャレンジしてくれるジェイは、ファンの期待を決して裏切りません。まだ若いし、これだけ大物になってもなお、いい意味でまだまだ発展途上のアーティストなのでしょう。素晴らしいです。

リリース前に「カントリー」と予告のあったとおり、以外な曲調の（1）で始まる。
が、テンポがよくノリが良いので、とても聴きやすい。MTVの映像も非常に
おもしろいので、ぜひ見て欲しい。従来のジェイのイメージがいい意味で覆る。
アルバムは、ジェイの王道ともいえるせつな系バラード（5,10）や中華ポップス（3）、
マイナー調のロック（6）を押さえつつ、1曲目に象徴されるように、さわやかな曲が
やや多いような印象がある。全体として、どの曲もクオリティが高く、外れがない。
ただ、アルバム自体の長さが短く、もう少し聴きたい気もするので、★４つ。
