それにしても、D.サンボーン、M.ブレッカー、R.キューバーの三者による見事なまでのアンサンブル。単に"プロだから"の一言で済まされてしまうレベルじゃないです。
エレピのきれいなイントロと三者のアンサンブルが心地良い[2]の"Mika"。ほんの少しのラテン・フレーバーがぐっと大人っぽさを演出する[3]の"Noches Calientes"はお気に入りです。
全曲、D.マシューズ御大の作曲ですが、ここまでグルーヴを具現化できるこの人達って、本当にすごいですね。
＃もちろん、タイトなリズム隊もこれまたGood。
個人的には、D.スピノザ(g)、D.グロルニック(Key、p)の参加も嬉しかったりします。
正にタイトル通り"超ファンキー"。名前負けしてませんよ。(^^;
