サンズ オブ エンジェルスの
１ｓｔアルバム。
まず、瀬上 純。
この人の音楽才能にはいつも驚かされる。
ハードラインやアクセル・ルディ・ペルで
活動してきたヴォーカリスト、ジョニージョエリの
声質をほぼ理解している。
これほどのヘヴィメタル・アメリカンロックを
作りあげ、そしてこの天才肌ジョニーに歌わせるとは。
しかも瀬上のそのギターは、ジョニーの声を
殺す事なく、いや むしろ引き立てている上に
ギターサウンドをしっかりと前に強調している。
凄い相性だ。
ハードラインやアクセルとは、全く異なるこのアルバムを
ファンは勿論、ハードロックファンにも絶対おすすめの作品！
きっとジョニージョエリの虜になります。
個人的には、
REVVIN'UPとWATCH ME FLY...と、
日本版ポーナストラックOPEN YOUR HEARTが大好きです。

日本人ギタリスト、瀬上 純と
アメリカ人シンガー、ジョニー・ジョエリによる
プロジェクトアルバム


音楽は、全てゲーム用に作られた曲のようですが、
そんなことは一切感じさせない、見事な出来栄えです

全体的に、疾走感あふれる楽曲になっています
感覚的には「80年代のアメリカン・ハード・ロック」で、
ハード・ロック好きには良いと思われます



ちなみに、ヨーロッパでは「Crush40」名義のアルバムが発売されていますが、
楽曲は殆ど同じなのでこちらを購入することを勧めます
