前作の3と比べて画質&音質が急激に上がったと思います。
キャラが滑らかに動き、銃声が響くのがまさに戦場にいるような感じです。
（戦場に赴いたことはないのですがｗ）

このゲームの良い点は、シリーズものなのにシナリオが別々なところです。
普通シリーズものは前作の続きなどが多く、前作をしなければ分からないという欠点がありますが、
このゲームは1つ1つが違うストーリーなので「前作やってない！」という方にも楽しくプレイできると思います。

FPSなので初心者の方は酔う可能性がありますので気をつけてください。

超有名作だけあって賛否両論分かれるゲームですが、なんだかんだ言ってかなり良いゲーム。

グラフィックは悪い点もあるけど、全体的にかなり良い。最近出たゲームと比べてもそん色ないレベル。爆発音、銃声などの環境音も、全体的にグッド。軽い音の銃声は好みが分かれるかも知れないけど、個人的には良かったと思う。あんまりフューチャーされないけど、COD4のバックグラウンドにある世界観やストーリー設定もかなり良くできてる。ワクワクするような雰囲気を保ちつつ、尚且つ現実離れしすぎないようにある程度リアリティーも保ってる。これはかなり重要で、そういうゲームのコンセプトがしっかりしてるから、安っぽさみたいなのはまったく感じない。
マルチプレイのオンライン対戦はシンプルだけど、かなり完成されてる。COD4のマルチプレイの快適さはほかのゲームと比べても比類なきレベルに達している。対戦相手を見つけるまでの時間が非常に短く、尚且つマップのロードもとても短い。それにオンライン人口も2009年現在でもかなり多い。しばらくは対戦相手に困ることもないでしょう。

シングルプレイ、マルチプレイともによく出来ているゲーム。

このゲームはオンラインメインと言っても良いほど

オンラインの評価が高いゲームです。

でも、自分はシングルモードも高く評価してもらいたいです!!

最後のシーンは感動させられますから。

まま欲を言えばオンラインよりオフラインの内容を充実させてほしかったですけどね・・・

このゲームをプレイすれば

きっと新作も欲しくなりますよ!!
