　1ページ１トピックという感じで非常にコンパクトにまとまっている印象。ですが、文章は完全には独立しておらず前後のトピックできちんと繋がっています。長文を短く区切って並べているのですが、それぞれが非常によくまとまっていて感心します。また、最初から連続で読む必要はなくどこからでも読めるようにもなっています。

　内容としては「遺伝子というのは運命に決定されたものではなく、遺伝子にはオンオフの機能がある。そしてこのオンオフは一生固定されているものではなく与える環境によって変化する」、「遺伝子という設計図を作ったサムシング・グレートが存在するかもしれない」というものです。
　また、本書では遺伝子の機能をオンにスイッチするための要素や考え方などを紹介し自分の花を咲かせるヒントを与えてくれています。遺伝子というとっつきにくいテーマでありながら人生論にまで及んだなかなか深い書籍でした。
　ちなみにサムシング・グレートなどの捉え方については中村天風氏や松下幸之助氏の捉え方とも似通っておりどこか納得させられる内容でした。

　サラッと読めて奥深い、なかなかの一冊だと思います。

村上先生の本は、なんだか気分が明るく楽しくなる本で好きです。
で、この本も手に取りましたが、ほとんど1ページに２〜３行。
分かりやすくて、手に取りやすい、という感じではありますが、
もっと深い内容が読みたかったなあ、と思います。

村上さんの本を数冊読んでいる方には物足りない感じだろうし、
村上さんの本を初めて読まれる方にはちょっと不親切かなあ、と思います。
となると、一体誰向けの本かしら？？？

寝る前に少しずつ読む、とか本を読むのが負担、と思われる方には
いいかも知れません。

内容はいつも通りにいいですが、もうちょっと・・・、と思いました。
