日曜大工などが趣味な方、自作家具を置く方には、これがおすすめ。
壁の中の柱や桟などの位置をつかめます。モルタルの壁にはくぎやネジも効きません。
針で刺すタイプの物で探すより、よっぽど短時間で出来るし、簡単です。本格的なものは高くて買えませんが、充分役立ちます。

階段手すりを取り付けるために，壁の下地にかくれている柱を探すのに使いました。柱ではないものに反応してピーピー音を発しパイロットランプが点滅することもありましたが，ＤＩＹで使う分には十分です。時間をかけてゆっくり柱を探索すれば柱の位置は，きちんとわかります。

新居への引越しに伴い購入しました。自分でカーテンレールを付ける予定だったので。付ける壁面が広い場合はいいのですが、ちょっと狭いところでは誤動作？する感じでした。手でたたいて音の違いを確かめながら、最初は細長い針のようなものを突き刺して柱があるか確かめながらドリルで穴を開けました。この商品だけではちょっと不安かなぁという感じ。
