ショージ君シリーズは数あれど、影響を受けるという意味ではこの本が一番ではないかと思います。
読み終わると確実に「料理やってみようかなぁ・・」と思うこと請け合いの一冊。
ショージ君チームは正直でかっこつけないので、失敗も、きちんと書いています。
読み物として面白いのは当然として、きちんと料理本になってます。

みんなで「スパゲティー、ダダダダの法則」を学びましょう！！

ショージ君が男数人とチームを組んで様々な料理に挑戦します。レシピにもなっているのですぐにでも利用できそう。個人的にはローストビーフを作ってみたいと思った。

牛肉のシソ葉いため（丼）、べたべたしないチャーハン。皮も自分でつくるギョーザ。しかも餡になる挽肉は固まり肉を包丁でトントン叩く。そして、ショージ君こだわりの鉄火丼…ではなく銀火丼etc。この本から我が家の定番になった料理は多い。

本当に役に立つ料理体験記だ。読んでおもしろく役に立つ。写真は一枚も掲載されず、料理の要点はすべてショージ君のイラストだが、カユイところに手が届く感じで非常に的を射ている。

２５年以上前の作品だが、新巻鮭が一尾５０００円近くもしているのを見るにつけ、今日の鮭の地位の下落？が感じられ、鮭（養殖ではなく秋味と呼ばれる白鮭）好きの私は悲しくも思えるが、気軽に食べることができる今日の状況を嬉しくも思っているので、何とも複雑な心境だ。味の素が多く登場するのも時代を感じさせるが、これもご愛嬌。我が家にとってはバイブルともいえる一冊。

本書の冒頭で紹介されている銀火丼は、その後「銀鉄丼」として更なる進化を遂げている。興味のある方は「ごはんの丸かじり」という著者のエッセイを読んでみてください。反則技的な丼だが、実際につくって食べてみると旨い。新たな味覚の世界が広がること間違いなし（笑）。
