「氷の微笑」以前の作品。今でも好きな女優さんですが、旬を過ぎてしまったと言わざる終えない、シャロン・ストーンがくどいです。美人なうえ、くどいメイクで大熱演。がんばり過ぎて作品を一人映画にしてしまいました。余韻のあるエンディング直前の彼女の演技はまさに息苦しい見所です。お話としてはかなり残酷なエンディングですが、それ以前にシャロン・ストーンが強烈でそんなのふっとんじゃいました。くどさならまけない「ロボコップ」等のロニー・コックスもたじたじ。
