Slade were the Definitive '70s Glam Rock Band with 14 Top Ten Singles Between 1971 and '75. Noted for Large Platform Shoes, Reflective Clothing, Bad Spelling and Being from the Midlands. Unfortunately the Quality of their Biggest Records is Often Over-looked Because of their Garish Image. This Album Intends to Correct that Injustice.

これが最新２枚組ベスト盤です。
DISC ONE ＃１の初ヒット('７１年全英１６位)からDISC TWO ＃１４の'９１年までの曲までが収録。
国民的バンドで全英チャートの常連だったが、この２枚組ベストの中で、全米チャートでは
DISC ONE ＃４('７２年９７位)、＃５('７３年７６位)、＃６('７３年６８位)、＃７('７３年９８位)、＃１８('８４年３７位)、＃１９('８４年２０位)と少なかった。。

個人的には「神風シンドローム」時代がリアルタイムだったので、このアルバムは彼らの初期からの２０年間の代表曲が網羅されており、またうれしいことに低価格で入手できうれしい！ですね。
ただ１枚目は７６分に及ぶが、２枚目は５１分しかないので「LITTLE SHEILA」「LOVE IS LIKE A ROCK」等収録してほしかったなぁ。
