   前半5曲はE．L．O．の立役者ジェフ・リンが、後半5曲はジョン・ファーラーがプロデュースしている。アナログ盤ではE．L．O．Side、ONJSideと分けられていた。
   当時のオリビア人気も手伝い、<6>が全米No．1シングルになるなど好セールスを記録した。しかし、それ以上にE．L．O．と彼女のコラボレーション<5>について、そのクオリティの高さが各方面で話題となり、サントラ盤の域を越えた佳作として絶賛された。（春野丸緒）

The album features 10 tracks, five each from E.L.O. & Olivia Newton-John, including the #1 smash 'Magic' by Newton-John, the top 10 title cut by both her & E.L.O. and the top 20 duet 'Suddenly' by Newton-John and Cliff Richard!

オリヴィア・ニュートン・ジョン主演映画のサントラではあり、ＬＰでは、オリヴィアサイド、ＥＬＯサイドに曲が分かれていた。いずれのサイドも曲が充実しており、オリヴィアサイドでは、ＮＯ１ヒット「マジック」、クリフ・リチャードとのデュエット「サドンリー」、ＥＬＯサイドでは、「アイム・アライヴ」「オール・オーヴァー・ザ・ワールド」、として両者によるタイトル曲と10曲中５曲がヒットした、ベスト盤のような構成となっている。
特にＥＬＯは当時全盛期であったこともあり、ＥＬＯサイドの収録曲はすべて高水準で、ＥＬＯ好きの人は是非一聴を。

懐かしくて買ってしまった。オリビアとE.L.Oのこのアルバムはいろいろと思い出深い昔に浸るには持って来いです。（４０〜５０代の方）

当時、六本木に同名のディスコがあり繁盛してましたね。

スマッシュ・ヒットとなった“マジック”、クリス・リチャードとのデュエット“恋の予感”はもう最高！

やはり、“ザナドゥ”が一番人気があったし、これを聴かないとこのアルバムを購入した意味がないですね。

オリビア・ニュートン・ジョン主演の同名ファンタジー映画サントラ版。とはいっても同映画を見ずにこのアルバムにハマッてしまった人も多いのでは？（実は私もその一人です！）透明感のあるオリビアの声と、かるーいＥＬＯの音が朝の重い体を羽毛のように軽くしてくれるはずです。出勤・登校前の集中力アップに。ザナドゥでウェイクアップ！
