殺陣、背景、ストーリーがとても素晴らしい『悲歌慷慨』の後編。
しかし、キャラの顔のいい加減な作画には怒りを通り越して閉口します。
確かに、尋常じゃないほどの作画枚数で大変なのは分かりますが、背景etc.よりも
まず『キャラ』ありきでしょう。たまにキャラ作画の粗い回もありますが、
これは別格です。特に無幻なんて『コイツ誰だ？』と思うほどです。
１話目に準ずるクオリティで全26話を走り切ったら、きっとビバップに並ぶ名作中の
名作になっていたはずで(私の中では十分名作ですが)、残念でなりません。

21話は中澤一登氏のキャラクターデザインを無視してオリジナルデザインでつくった印象を持った。最早『誰なんだ、お前』状態。劇画まがいの登場人物達にストーリーにのめり込めずに不完全燃焼した勿体無い回…。
出来れば、描き直して発売して欲しかった。 22話は、無くても良かったんじゃない?この話。これをやる位なら第2話で登場した殺し屋、犬山を再登場させた話を作って欲しかった…。
この巻は、レンタルで十分かな…。

交錯する想い、そして刃を交えた戦い。
この回を観ていて、ハラハラした…。
アニメなのに?
どうせ勝つだろ?と思うけども、こういう勝ち方は辛勝と言うべきものなんですね。
明らかに分の悪い戦いを演出し、たまたま生き残るという形で勝つ。
段々とシリアスになっていくんですね。
