１・２章では日本の広義での新自由主義の歴史を紐解いていき既得権批判の構造を明らかにしていく。また、韓国の事情と比較したりと新自由主義についての知識・データの羅列が延々と続く・・・のだが、１・２章がまるで教科書や資料を読んでるようで疲れる。
三章になってようやくサブカルを相互承認の場、もしくは声をあげる足場として利用しようという筆者の主張が見えてくるのだが、そんなに斬新な主張とは思えないような。
出てくる具体例もニコニコ動画とかで乏しいし・・・。
新書なんだから、もっと初学者向けでひとつの読み物として面白いと思わせるよう工夫するべきだったのでは。

新自由主義について詳しくなりたい人は、１・２章を。そして１・２章を読んでて「結局何が言いたいんだ」と投げ出したくなった人は、飛ばして３章から読んでみることをオススメしたい。

　本書の内容は、著者の定義するところの「新自由主義」な思想に
現代は侵されており、それをサブカルによって克服しよう！というような
内容である。

　のだが、立論が適当としか思えないというか、言葉の使い方が意図的なのか？
と思うほど、曖昧かつ自由というか、何か明示されていない大前提を元に本書の
内容は論じられているような気がする。

　タイトルの「新自由主義」なるもの自体も定義が曖昧で、新自由主義なるものは既得権と
いうものに対するスタンスが特徴で、それがどのような理由において発生しているか、という
ような説明や定義付けはなされるものの、実際に提示された具体例が、前段の説明や定義
とは異なっている…少なくとも、同様のものであると断じ得る根拠は薄弱と感じた。

　そういうわけで私にはもはや、既得権に反感を覚えるもの=新自由主義者位の理解しかしよう
がなく、それならそれで別段構わないのだが、著者の定義づけでは明らかに狭い範囲の人間や
思想を示唆しているのでワケが解からない。

　若手の社会学者によるサブカル論、いや、格差論というべきか。どういうロジックでこの２つのテーマを結ぶのか興味があったが、要約すれば、
・既得権への挑戦は結局強者と弱者と言う画一的価値観の域を出ないものだ。
・それを防ぐのは、ジモト的価値観やサブカル的スタンスだろう。
というマルチチュード的流れ。それなりに面白く読めた。
　が、右から左までの論文を引っ張り出しているため、そもそも新自由主義の定義が非常に曖昧。ほとんど全ての改革が“新自由主義”とされたら立つ瀬がない。くわえて、後半の論議は一気に社会学ヲタクっぽさが全開で、相当読み手を選ぶと思う。サブタイの方に惹かれて手に取った人はついていけないのではないか。まあ若いので期待を混めて座布団四枚。
