ロバート・ゼメキス監督の映画作品「ベオウルフ/呪われし勇者」を舞台にしたwindows用アクションアドベンチャーゲーム。映画では触れられていないベオウルフの30年の歴史を体験できる。プレイヤーは気高く利己的で金と栄光に貪欲なノルウェーの勇士ベオウルフとなり、極寒の地デンマークへと旅立つ。ヘロオットの城を襲う邪悪な巨人グレンデルを倒し、城を守ろうと必死に奮闘しているフロースガール王を救出すべく、仲間の戦士たちとともに、次々襲い来る残虐で凶暴なモンスターとの死闘を繰り広げる。様々な武器を使いこなし、倒したモンスターを持ち上げ投げつけたりと、攻撃のバリエーションも豊富。また豪族を助けたり巨人を倒すことで味方兵士が増加。仲間に攻撃場所や門の開放などの命令を与えることも可能。敵を倒して経験値を上げ、武器や肉体をアップグレードしていく。
「ゴーストリコン アドバンスウォーファイター」「ゴーストリコン アドバンスウォーファイター2」で使用された「YETIテクノロジー」を使用し、高度なグラフィック技術でベオウルフの世界観を表現している。映画で主人公を演じるレイ・ウィンストンやフロースガール王役のアンソニー・ホプキンズなど、キャストの容姿をCGで再現したキャラクターたちが登場。ボイスをキャスト本人が担当するなど、豪華な内容となっている。
