私もあっと言う間に読んでしまいました。

今回は主人公ケイティの故郷、テキサスのコブ。
魔法の力が非常に少ない、魔法使いのいないはずの町で騒動が起きます。
今回は、やはり、なんといってもケイティの家族が面白い！
皆、非常に濃いキャラで、笑わせてくれます。
その家族にオーウェンは意外にも馴染むので、不思議に思いましたが、
その理由は、ケイティの家族の意外な事実から。

イドリスとの戦いにも大きな展開があります。

本作もとっても楽しめました。
訳者のあとがきによると、本国では５作目の出版が保留されているそうです。
１作目がまだ売れていて、２作目以降の売れ行きが期待するほど伸びていないからだとか。
５作目のテーマがオーウェンらしいので、早く読みたいです。
早く出版してほしい限りです。

　生まれ故郷のテキサスへ帰ったケィティですが、父母兄弟どころかおばあちゃんまで巻き込んでの大騒動。オーウェンとの仲も進展したと考えてよいのやら？きっと進展したのよね。
　期待に違わぬ面白さで、一気に読んでしまい、もう読了してしまったことが残念で。残念で。

相も変わらず、徐々に徐々にしか距離を縮められないケイティとオーウェン。しかし終盤に、オーウェンにとっては多分精一杯であろう意思表明があります。またそれがキュンとした。この2人はこれ位のテンポで丁度いいんだろうな〜自分が積極的でないため、ちょっと分かるかもしれない…
