パワポケ７のサクセスはかなり良かったですが、今回は８に向けたＤＳの実験作ということでしょう。試合中やデータ画面でプログラムが途中で止まるバグが多数存在します。これは何とかしてほしいです。８は３Ｄということですし期待したいです。あと↓はメジャー選手のパスです。実名選手がいないのでパスワードで楽しむとこの作品も結構盛り上がると思います。

今までのパワポケはロボットやら幽霊やらで現実とかなりかけ離れていましたが、この「パワポケ甲子園」は自らがチームのキャプテンとなり甲子園を目指すというスタンダードなシナリオになっています。今までのパワポケのような現実離れしたストーリーにウンザリしている人にはオススメ。逆にパワポケ独特の謎めいたストーリーが好きな人には向かないかもしれません。

ゲーム自体も機能が全面的に向上し、ニンテンドーDSの2画面を生かした作品となっているようです。携帯野球ゲームでは一番のデキとなるのではないでしょうか。

このゲームで感じたこと。外野守備難しい。初期守備位置が後ろ過ぎる。十字キー操作なので、ミートカーソルをロックオンにしないと打てなくて、試合に勝てない。パワプロと違って、低めのボール球をよく振る。あと、甲子園での対戦チームの能力が高すぎ。ベスト８ぐらいから160キロ投手がゴロゴロでる。１６３キロのストレート投げる高校生って一体...。打撃では、ミート打ちで内外野の間に落とすのが基本かなあ。結構難易度高い。
