　1986年上映の同名角川映画がモチーフ。
　クダジマ・トシトになり、自分の目指す未来になるように歴史を変えるべく日本の歴史上の重要人物（織田信長や豊臣秀吉、徳川家康など）と会談をして行く。
　ゲーム内容は至極簡単。出てきた問題に４択で答える。その答えによって歴史が変わる。選択を間違うとクダジマ・トシトは殺されるので注意（笑）。

　この当時では珍しいマルチエンディング（６種）。
　「１度やればあとはいいよ」ってタイプのゲーム。

映画原作ということですが、その映画を見たことはありません。
ゲームシステムは、ほとんど会話だけで進めるアドベンチャーゲームで、選択肢は「YES/NO」のみ。
会話によってストーリーが変わり、パラレルワールドを体験できるというコンセプトはよいのですが、なにせ内容が薄く、数度の会話で次の時代へ進む上、用意されたシーンが少なく、ボリューム不足にもほどがあります。
しかも、何度も時代を戻される為、同じ会話を繰り返さざるを得ず、進めるのがかなり苦痛になります。
PC向けアドベンチャーゲームにも短いストーリーのものがありましたが、その分謎解きにひねりを加えているとか、ストーリー時代が面白いとか、画像を見て楽しむとか、何らかのセールスポイントがありました（ないものもある）。
これはYES/NOで進める以上、謎解きもなく分岐も少ないので、全パターンをメモして全ストーリーを見るのも簡単です。
こんなゲームブック以下のゲームソフトを定価で買ってしまった人は、お気の毒としか言いようがありません。
今になって格安で入手してプレイしてみると、バカゲーっぷりが結構面白く感じられます。
バカゲー好きにはお勧め。
現在、大容量メディアを使ってフルアニメーションに生ボイスで表現された、声優人気で売っているようなゲームがありますが、コンセプトそのものはこのゲームが目指していたものと大差ありません。
このゲームは、あまりにも時代を先取りし過ぎて失敗したのです。

これもまともに評価したら最低評価の誹りは免れられまい。

人類の破滅を回避するための歴史の変革・・なんだが、基本的には各時代の著名人との対話・・・(笑)。
但し、信長や秀吉・・果ては西郷さん辺りは怒らせると斬られる。

「愛」や「食」の歴史になると、登場人物の性格すらも変革される。
タイムマシンがなぜか自動運転で、時代を去るときに「乗り遅れてゲームオーバー」の可能性がある辺りが馬鹿馬鹿しいと思います。

日本史だけを変革して人類の未来が変わるってのはおかしいと思うのだけれど・・・。
しかも、歴史を題材にしながら「全く、歴史の勉強にはならない」し(笑)。
