永遠の名作ともよばれるベスト・アルバム(94年作品)が、2008年デジタル・リマスター&
紙ジャケに登場! さらに、ボーナストラックに昨年のサマソニ音源から
「ホール・イン・マイ・ハート」を収録。94年に発売されたこのベスト盤は、
デビュー盤~4枚目『ハット・フル・オブ・スターズ』までのアルバムから
選りすぐりの名曲を編纂。ベスト盤にも関わらず、14年たった今でも人気が高いのは、
シンディ人気の根強さ、鮮烈なアルバムジャケットのデザインの秀逸さもさることながら
、80年代のポピュラー音楽全体の中でも重要と言える2つの名曲「トゥルー・カラーズ」
と「タイム・アフター・タイム」を同時に収録した唯一のアルバムである事も大きい。
5月14日にメジャー・レコーディングとしては12年ぶりとなるオリジナル・
フル・アルバムのリリースを予定し、リードシングル「セット・ユア・ハート」
はTOYOTA CMの大型タイアップ(1年間)に乗ってO.A.中

初めて聞く人や、久しぶりに聞きたくなった人には、
このアルバムが良い感じかな？
恐らく必要十分な楽曲が揃ってると思いますよ。

パワフルなシンディーが大好きって人は、
ライブDVDを買うのが良いかもしれませんね。

大御所、シンディーのパワーが漲る1枚。
他のアルバムで別テイクの曲もあるが、
このアルバムに収録されているバージョンが、
1番良い。
パワーが無い時、これを大ボリュームで聴くと
一気に気分は上昇！！
がんばろうって思える。
お薦め！！！

大好きなTime After Timeが聞きたくて買ったCDですが、それ以外もなかなかよかったです。彼女にはキーキー声でがなりたてるように歌うよりも、Time~のようにスイートに歌って欲しいです。マーヴィン・ゲイのWhat's going onが入っていたのも驚き。彼女なりの味付けも悪くないです。
