「ヴァケイション」「可愛いベイビー」などのヒツト曲で我が国でも名高いコニー・フランシスが日本語で数々の唄を歌ってくれますヨ。 「ボーイ・ハント」「大人になりたい」「想い出の冬休み」「ロリポップ・リップス」「ブロークン・ハート」「渚のデイト」等は聞き逃せないところだし、黛ジュンの渡辺じゅん子時代を想い出す「ダンケ・シェーン」も超シビレルーッてな感じですネ。 日本と米国とでは売れた曲に差異がありますが、コニー（・スティーヴンスぢゃなくってヨ）は、その辺の事情も加味して上手く「日本人好みの」唄を独特の泣き節で歌ってくれています！
　「ファースト・クリスマス 」もお聞き逃しなく！！

1つのアルバムが、25曲ものその時代の外国のスターのオリジナル英語原曲の日本語ヴァージョンだけでできているということ自体、他にあまり例を見ない貴重なもので、ユニークな魅力に溢れています。 とりわけ、「可愛いベイビー」はオリジナル英語ヴァージョンのコニー・フランシスの愛くるしい歌い方、声質がとても気に入っていたので、期待と一抹の不安を抱きつつ拝聴したのですが、オリジナルに勝るとも劣らない魅力的なものになっています。
曲中、オリジナルヴァージョンにはなかった突然あらわれるコニーの大きな溜め息は、まさに青天の霹靂、驚天動地で思わず笑ってしまいましたが、これだけでもこのCDを買う価値があるくらいナイスです。
