このアルバムの世間的な評価があまりに軽はずみすぎる気がする。

ヒップホップの可能性をあらゆる意味で押し広げたカニエの３枚目のアルバム。
独自のトラックメイキングの技術をさらに押し進めて、もはや誰も予想していなかったようなネタ使いや、どこかにソウルを残しつつのポップな感覚など、実に画期的な作品だと思う。
聞きやすいことは決して評価のマイナスに繋がることではない。

PVやジャケットにアーティストを起用していることや、その作品全体の内容からカニエ・ウェストがヒップホップを一音楽という視点からというより、アートのコンセプチュアルな視点から見ていることも伺える。
自分にはこれらのアーティストの起用は売名というよりも必然に写る。

今回のアルバムの目的は歌詞へのメッセージ性以上に、トラックやコンセプトを利用してのヒップホップの可能性の提示だったのではないだろうか。
そういう意味ではこのアルバムは大成功だ。

さらに村上のスーパーフラットという作品コンセプトは、ヒップホップのサウンドメイキングを表すのにふさわしいコンセプトだと思う。
よく見ればこのジャケットの配色や線の太さ等を巧く利用して、この平面のジャケットの中に非常に立体感のある世界を村上氏は作り上げている。
この線一本の配色にまでこだわるのはまさに一流の仕事だろう。

トラックメイキングの手法や、相変わらずのユーモア、アルバムの流れなどを考慮しても評価は揺るぎないが、なにより彼の提示したヒップホップの可能性に☆５つを与えたい。

4作目Good A Jobの前にKanyeさんは最高の仕事をしてくれました！！！

普段 Kanyeさんを批判してる人やCommon好きの人もこのアルバムなら納得でしょう。

自分のオススメ曲はEverything I Am・Bittersweet Poetry feat.ジョン・メイヤー
特にBittersweet Poetryはアルバムのコンセプトにそぐわないとの理由から輸入盤では未収録
国内盤でボートラとして入ってます。クリス・マーティンとの曲、Homecomingよりもすばらしい出来です。

アメリカでは50Cent対Kanye Westって事で話題になってるみたいですが（発売日が同じなんで）
リークされた50Centの曲を聴いたかぎりではKanyeさんの圧勝でしょう。

あと日本人的な話題といえばアルバムアートに村上隆氏が抜擢されていることでしょうか。

本当にアルバムとして完成度が高くいつまでも聞いてられます。
最近のヒップホップアルバムではTalib KweliのEardrum、Blu & ExileのBelow The Heavensに次ぐ大傑作だと思います。

最後にPharrell、Kanyeさん、Lupe FiascoのCRS (Child Rebel Soldier) のスペシャルユニットにも期待してます！！！

Strongerのトラックはかっこいいけど、ただのラブソング。
リリック構成は相変わらずの上手さ、でも中身は？
オンナと金以外の意味のある曲を作りたいとの１ｓｔの頃の発言はどこにいったか。

アルバムを通して、トラック自体も前作から予測できるレベル。
むしろキャッチーな曲が多い分、カニエのラップの下手さが耳についた。
曲だけで言うなら1st, 2ndや、G.O.O.Dのテープを聞いたほうがいい。

ジャケもどうかと思うのは俺だけ？

減点は、前作までのシリアスさが消えた分と、Popに走りすぎた分と、ジャケの悪さ（2点減点）

メジャーとアンダーグラウンドの間を目指す姿勢がどっちつかずに向かわないように。4作目に期待したい。
