この本が絵本化されないのかなぁ・・・と思っていたらついに絵本化されたのですね。
こどものともでのタイトルは「ふしぎなはこ」だったのですがタイトルも少し変更されて。
こんな素敵な箱があったら、子ども達の心はワクワクドキドキです。我が家の子ども達もこんな箱があったら♪と嬉しそうにこの本を読んでいます。今サンタさんはどの辺りにいるんだろう、自分のところにも来てくれるかな？とクリスマスの夜が待ち遠しくなる本です。是非読んであげて下さい。

大好きな長谷川摂子さんの、クリスマスの本。
抱きしめたいくらいかわいいお話。
斉藤俊行さんの絵もなんだかとても懐かしい味わいだ。
家のなかのようすも、現代よりは少し前の感じ。電話とか冷蔵庫とか、
それになにより、「ぼく」の家にはガラス戸と縁側があるんだもの。
これはもう、昭和の家。そんなところからも、ほのぼのとした空気が
立ちのぼってくる。

ひみつの箱。そして今日は、大事な日。
サンタクロースがほんとうに自分のところに来てくれるのか、というのは
一大事ですもの。
そうっとそうっと、何度ものぞく「ぼく」の仕草がかわいい。
そのドキドキが伝わってくる。
待って待って、待ちわびて、どうか来てくれますようにと願う子どもの
一途な気持ちが一冊まるごとに現されている。
読みごたえがあって、わたしはその気持ちこそをプレゼントとして味わわせてもらったよ。

いいなあ　こんな箱があったら。

男の子が部屋にかくした秘密の箱。実は中をのぞくとプレゼントを配るサンタの
様子がリアルタイムで映し出されるのだ。箱をのぞく度に自分の家に近づいてくるサンタ。
男の子の胸の鼓動がこちらにも伝わってくる夢いっぱいのクリスマス絵本です。

もとになっているのは「こどものとも年少版２００１・１２月号」
今なら携帯やネットで似たようなサービスができるかもしれませんね
