5.0 out of 5 stars 急転直下、怒涛の波乱物語, 2009/9/1
ローカス賞第一長編部門受賞作（実はファンタジー部門ではないのです）の3分冊その2。
1/4ぐらいまでは前巻の続きでゆるりと宮廷劇。正直官能小説路線は食傷気味なのですが、そのあと、いきなりの急転直下、怒涛の波乱話がまっております。ここからは一気に読んでしまえました。

囚われの身となってもあきらめず、逆境でも心温まる交流あり（冷静に考えるとそんな状況でもないし、心温まらないこともあるのですが…）、知恵を使って生き抜く物語となっており、怒涛の展開が小気味よいです。詳しい状況は読んでのお楽しみ。

ちなみに、少しずつ世界が広がってきたこともあり、1冊目と2冊目の翻訳付記をあわせて読むと、世界情勢が整理できてなかなかいいです。

かの大河ロマン、アンジェリクを思い出します。
あれもハレムに攫われたりいろいろあったなぁ・・・

というわけで、今回は大冒険！

権謀術数渦巻く中をその魅力と不屈の精神で泳ぎぬく彼女に脱帽です。
冒険自体もですが、その物理的移動距離を考えると気が遠くなります。

あんまり面白いので、この巻、発売日の前日に都内書店をはしごして入手、読了後、もう続巻を待てなくて、原書発注しちゃいました。

ネタばれになるから書けないけれど、一巻でのヒヤシンスの母の予言は現実のものとなり、彼女はゆりかごから放り出されてしまうのでした。
やっと凍らせていた心を溶かして人間らしく生きることができるようになった矢先の凶事に、彼はきっと安堵もしていたんじゃないかな。
幸せになることに罪悪感を感じていたと思うから。
安らかな死に顔をそう解釈しています。
彼らにとても思い入れがあったので、お別れが悲しかったです。

何を書いてもネタバレになりそうなんで，

一巻目ではフェードルの周囲の世界でしたが，
今回はさらに広がり，
神々の国テールダンジュを取り巻くその他の世界が絡み
物語はどこへ終結していくのか
アングイセットはその中でどういう役回りなのか

最終巻ではどういう決着がつくか
期待してます。
