所々に今までの光田氏らしい旋律、さらにそれを進化させた新しい世界が感じられる作品です。
神秘的な曲からさわやかな風のような曲、緊迫感のある曲まで、様々な曲があり、楽しむことができます。
この作品は、「クロノトリガー」「クロノクロス」「ゼノギアス」で共に活躍した加藤氏の本も一緒になっており、この本を音楽と同時に楽しむのが一番の楽しみ方だと思います。
曲目ごとに物語が進んでいくので、ゆっくり噛締めるように文章を読んでいくと、その音楽の作り出す世界観と物語の世界観がマッチして、展開の緊迫感も楽しむことが出来ます。
光田氏の音楽も、加藤氏の物語もどちらをとっても素晴らしいですが、この二つがそろってこそ、この作品は真価を発揮すると思います。
大変良い作品ですので、多くの方にオススメしたいです。

　スレイベルズ6作目にして初の完全オリジナルプロダクト。｢ゼノギアス｣｢クロノクロス｣｢バテン・カイトス｣の加藤正人によって紡がれた言葉たちに、光田康典が楽曲という息吹を吹き込むことによって完成したとても切なく神秘的な世界。
　同梱のストーリーブックは心の琴線に触れる加藤節が全編を通じて展開。各チャプターと楽曲が呼応しているため、それぞれのエピソードがあたかも映画のワンシーンのように印象深く心に刻み込まれる。言葉わずかに多くを語らぬ場面では光田による歌が感情的に心を湧き立たせては物語る。少年と少女に廻る業深き運命の物語はややもすると説明不足だが、それこそが加藤流のラブ・ストーリーなのである。二人の出会いに理由は要らない。必然と偶然。言葉を超えた運命の苛酷さと愛おしさ、希望への予感がこのわずかな本と音楽に込められている。
　今回、光田の音楽は主役ではない。だが、音楽なしにキリテの世界に触れることはできない。１曲１曲のクオリティーの高さもさることながら、これまでのサウンドトラックでは構造上あり得なかったそのドラマティックな進行・連続した緊張感に注目したい。プログレ的インストゥルメンタルに加え日本語歌によって、従来の｢民族音楽的｣であるというようなカテゴリーに囚われない｢キリテ的｣な世界観が実現されているのである。
　加藤、光田両氏のファンならば何の迷いもなく手にできる傑作だ。

キリテは、ブックレットを読みながらCDを聴いてこそ、その本当の魅力と言うか、素晴らしさが分かります。
ブックレットはいかにもファンタジー、といったライトノベルさながらの内容で、大変失礼ですが文もそれほど上手くないし、それだけでは大して面白くありません。
そしてCDも、僕は光田氏の音楽は大好きですが、インストの好き嫌いは激しいので収録曲の半分はろくに聴き込みもしないで終わらせてしまっていたかもしれません。
そんなどうしようもない僕ですが、CDを聴きながらブックレットを読むことで、その世界に難なく入り込むことが出来ました。
キリテの楽しみ方は、CDのトラックとブックレットの話を、本当に同時に聴いていく(読んでいく)ことだと思います。
どちらかが欠けてしまえば、キリテという作品は決して完成されたものではないと思います。
好みは人それぞれですが、感動することは出来るはず。
感動することさえ出来れば、キリテはきっとあなたの宝物になります。
