MP630を使用していますが、個人的にやはりこのインク容量少ないと感じます。
毎月写真印刷をKG判10〜20枚、A4を5枚ほど、普通紙カラー印刷を100枚ほど行いますが、
１月に本体を購入して5月で２回目の交換です。とくにカラーインクは消耗が激しく、染料黒が一本終わると同時にカラー3色2本目がなくなりました。顔料黒は文字にしか使われないのでだいぶ減りが遅いです。かといってカラーインクを単品で買おうとすると1本1000円もして、容量の多い7eよりも高いです。
光沢プラチナ用紙に写真印刷したときの画質はたいへん満足なのですが、いかんせんコストがかかりすぎます。インクも薄利多売にした方が逆に儲かるんじゃないかと思うんですが、キヤノンさんどうかもっと安くしてくれませんかねえ。
私はこのペースで行くと年間2万近くインクを買う羽目になりそうです･･･

年賀状の季節にはあっという間にインクが無くなるので、各色１個ぐらいは予備を持っていたいものです。
ただ、インクには使用期限があるので、予備もほどほどにしておいた方が良さそうです。

マルチパックは大型電気店よりも、送料込みで値段も安いのでamazonで購入するのが良いと思います。　
ただ、このマルチパックはグレーインクがセットになっていませんので、PIXUS MP980ではグレーだけは単体で購入しなくてはなりません。

商品自体はグレーの消費が早いようでこれがセットに入っていない、消費の多いインクタンクは大きく設計しほしかった。商品化するまでには多数の印刷を経て品質や実用性を位置付けるのでしょうから、CANON社はユーザーの懐をもう少し考えて価格や交換頻度を少なくする様に大企業こそECO意識を持ってインクタンクの寿命を考える責務があるのではないでしょうか？
と言うことで、品質には問題ないので減点合わせ☆３つにしました。
