頑なにLiveとHeavy Metalに拘り、メンバーの脱退とバンドの再生を繰り返してきた10年間。昨年末の公開Net メンバー・オーディション経て、今年3月からの新メンバーによる全国47都道府県ツアーを敢行。最終公演でベーシストの正式メンバー加入が発表され、第5期マシンガンズを表明。「メンバーの強烈な個性と極限まで肉体を使うLIVEで、Heavy Metalをエンタテインメント性のある音楽に昇華させる」新生マシンガンズによる初のアルバム制作はメンバー全員作詞作曲に関わり、唯一無二のマシンガンズ道を貫きました。30代以上の男なら、誰でもなりたい「人妻キラー」、男の悲哀を描く「愛の相撲部屋」、全ての元ヤンに捧げる「青春時代」他、10曲プラス、昨年配信限定でリリースした「ジャッキー」を加えた全11曲収録です。10月11日からニュー・アルバムを引提げた全国ツアーもスタート。

久々の新録で、第5期マシンガンズのスタートという意味では歓迎したい。
が、楽曲は今ひとつ・・・
勢いはそのままに伝わってはくるものの、単調な曲が多く、耳に残るフレーズがあまりない。キャッチーさが影を潜め、ダークにゴリゴリとリフが展開していく曲が多く、個人的にはあまりいい内容とは言えない。変にポップになってほしくはないが、メロディは重要だと思う。次回作に期待。

５期メンバー初フルアルバムです。個人的には好きです。
「青春時代」や「ダイアモンド軍団」などライブで楽しめる楽曲もあり、
今まで通り彼ららしく聴いてて楽しいアルバムとなってると思います。
ただ、妙に音が安っぽく感じるのは否めないです…残念。

このメンバーが定着してくれるといいですね！
やっぱりこのバンド、好きです！

47都道府県ツアーを敢行した５期マシンガンズを、地方のライブハウスで観てファンになりました。
ライブも、過去の曲も素晴らしいですが、現メンバーになっての待ちに待ったフルアルバムなので、とっても楽しみ！
ジャケ写同様、タイトルを見ただけで笑ってしまう。「人妻キラー」のプロモもバカらしくてイイです。
全国制覇でメンバー同士確固たる絆が生まれ、迷いなく進んでくれると思ったところへギタリストの脱退。。。
当分いばらの道は続きそうですが、その道はきっと「武道館」へ通じていると信じて！！
